Fashion Horizons 1941

Several Paramount starlets take a bright and breezy vacation in the southwest in this color film from 1941, while a bright and breezy narrator cheerfully describes their trip to us, describing every outfit each woman wears in great detail and occasionally throwing in a plug for TWA.

This film will be of particular interest to Arizonans as our starlets spend some time in the Grand Canyon State starting at the 6:40 mark of Part 1 and all of Part 2. Scenes include aerial shots of the Valley, our ladies spending time at the Camelback Inn, Phoenix Airport, Meteor Crater, the Grand Canyon, Boulder Dam (Hoover Dam), Boulder City Airport and Lake Mead.
